The new LP900 series is the latest addition to Smarteq´s wide range of M2M antennas. The new antenna range is a response to the massive growth of wireless M2M applications and thus a massive market growth for antennas. Moreover, LP900 is particularly well suited to be fitted on wireless AMR/AMM solutions, the new hot billion dollar industry worldwide. Smarteq has in less than a year taken a number of big contracts on the Scandinavian AMR-market and is now the clear market leader with a market share of more than 50 percent of the total Scandinavian AMR market on antennas. For example, Smarteq is the antenna supplier for the biggest AMR project in the Nordics supplying an AMR solution to 825,000 Swedish households.
The increased market for antennas has also meant an increased demand for close engineering teamwork and projects between Smarteq and other suppliers of wireless solutions.
